Having sought a holiday property for some time, we eventually discovered the real beauty and charm of this Mediterranean island. If you associate Sardinia with the celebrity status of the exotic Costa Smeralda – think again. With a wealth of hospitality soaked in tradition & local custom we discovered the real charm lay in lesser known locations that still enjoy all the benefits of sunshine filled days, beautiful scenery and beaches of the highest quality.

Once settled into our apartment we never expected that we were also about to become invited into a friendly community that reminds us of the way home used to be. As fun as it is to rub shoulders with the fodder of glossy celebrity magazines, it won’t compare with sharing a meal with new friends – especially where meals are a treated with a real sense of occasion.

To fully appreciate Sardinia goes hand-in-hand with ‘slow food’… and local wine produced in nearby vineyards and cellars.
